I'm so excited! Me and the husband are finally going on a date :) Dinner at the Blue Tomato...romantic, huh?!? He is such a workaholic :/ I guess it could be much worse, though. He could be a lazy bum and NOT work. We should be rich with all the hours that man puts in, but nooooo...he has to fiddle with his Mustang. Hopefully the third motor will be a charm and he won't blow this one up!

First blog in years!!!
While being bored and trying to avoid taking a nap this afternoon, I was looking around on facebook and looking at other people's blogs. Back in the day, I used to have a livejournal...I gave that up years ago...all I wrote about what petty teenager-type things. But I like the idea of chronicling my life, especially with all of the exciting things that will be happening in the near (hopefully) future. So here I am...back in the blogging world!
Some background information first, I guess...I am 25 years old...graduated from HHS in 2002 and then went to UNO for 3 years. I got my BS in Rehabilitation Services and MHS in Rehabilitation Counseling from LSUHSC in 2006 and 2007, respectively. I work for the state of Louisiana, Department of Social Services, division of Louisiana Rehabilitation Services as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor.
On April 18, 2009, I married Josh Jourdain. We have a cozy (ahem, small!) apartment in Boutte. We definitely want to buy a house soon, so if anyone wants to give us a few thousand dollars, we would LOVE that!
I have a brother who is 15 and a sister who is 30. My sister and her husband are expecting their first baby, my godson, sometime in the next 6-7 weeks! I can't wait to meet little Talen. He is already super spoiled :)
So that really sums up who I am, I suppose. If there is anything that you want to know, just ask!
